Money that moves for the people who matter most

Why we do, what we do

Behind every transfer is a relationship: a parent supporting their children’s education, a son or daughter checking in on parents, friends helping each other. We think about our work through that lens first, and the technology second.

Our role is to make those everyday acts of care simpler, safer and more reliable — and to keep improving them as the needs of the communities we serve evolve.

Our investors are excited to support us and trust our ability to grow responsibly and sustainably. We are future-focused and demonstrate that businesses with purpose can provide strong, sustainable returns.

Two brands, one purpose

Zepz powers WorldRemit and Sendwave, two of the world’s leading digital remittance brands. Both were built around a simple belief: sending money to the people you love shouldn’t come with unnecessary cost, delay or worry.

For a long time, cross-border communities were underserved by traditional financial services — paying more, waiting longer, and trusting systems that weren’t built with them in mind. We set out to change that by moving remittances onto phones, so that support can reach loved ones in minutes rather than days, and at a cost that reflects real value, not legacy overheads.

Today, our brands help customers send from 50+ countries to recipients in 130+ countries and territories — landing in bank accounts, mobile wallets or cash pickup points, wherever people need it most.

Our Story
Always Evolving, Never Finished
2010

WorldRemit set out to bring cross-border money transfers online, growing into a broad platform with multiple ways for money to land — bank deposit, cash pickup, mobile money, or airtime top-up.

2014

Sendwave took a sharper approach: a stripped-back, mobile-first app focused on getting money into a wallet or bank account fast, with clear, upfront fees, starting in Africa before expanding into Asia.

2021

The two came together, and Zepz was formed to bring both brands under one roof — each keeping its own identity and customers, while sharing the infrastructure and expertise needed to serve cross-border communities at scale.

2025

That shared strength powered a new step forward: the launch of the Sendwave Wallet, letting customers hold and move digital dollars directly, giving them more control in markets where local currencies can be unpredictable.
